While Jacob was stuck in a tug-of-war, Tessa had already arrived. The public aircraft she took didn't stop at the academy's main entrance—it landed at the south gate instead. In theory, outsiders weren't allowed inside the Empire's Military Academy without permission, but female visitors were an exception. Tessa only had to scan her iris at the gate before she was allowed through without question. Following the HoloCore's navigation, she made her way straight toward the Medical Division. Even though she didn't know exactly where Jacob was, she figured she couldn't go too far wrong if she headed in the right general direction.
