What did he just utter? Was he even thinking at all? What was she to say? What was she to respond to? All the questions were still running through her mind when she heard a light chuckle come from Antonio. "Wait, do you even expect me to say something like that?" Antonio asked, smirking. "The only reason why I haven't killed you is that I still find you mysterious. Now, I get that you're really looking for death by all means... After thinking for some minutes, the only solution that popped into her head was one thing: run! "You think I was enticed by your charm or lured when you tried to seduce me? It's because of you that I have so many lurking enemies gathering around me,should I just kill you?" "I... uh..." She couldn't think of what to say. 'Yeah, he was right,if only he could just fall for her, then ,she wouldn't hesitate to behead him.' She thought. "Get out!" he shouted, and she didn't think twice. She took off the heels she was wearing and stormed out of the room, running away madly. She didn't look back or stop until she got to her room, then rushed in and shut the door quickly. "You almost died, Maya,should I just give up?" she muttered, rolling from side to side. "Damn you, Emily!fuck you!you almost got me killed... why is he so scary?" "Why is he not moved by any of this at all? Is he blind" She gasped and suddenly burst into laughter, slapping the mirror as if it were Antonio. "I really suck at this seducing thing,I don't even have my phone here, so I could search how to go about it... what should I do now?" She sighed, rubbing her make up off, took off her clothes, and fell onto the bed once again. "Emily, just be a little patient with me, okay? I'll surely be over this mission soon,I'll make him pay for every pain and suffering he caused the nation." ✯✯✯✯ ANTONIO SUITE* Antonio was still smoking as he sat on the windowsill, gazing out at his empire. Suddenly, he reminisced about what had just happened. She was the only person who had ever disrespected him so much, yet she was still alive. First, he had asked her why she tried to seduce him, and she had talked back to him, earning a trip to the torture room. He couldn't fathom why he hadn't killed her then. Yet, he had saved her when Skylar tried to whip her, he could have watched her being whipped to death but instead, he saved her and ended up beating Skylar, who still hadn't recovered. And when the invaders abducted her from his clan, he had saved her again. Who was she that he was willing to put his life in danger for her sake? Was he slowly changing? Why hadn't he allowed the person Hellfire sent to kill Maya earlier took her away from him? And then he remembered what Hotdogg had told him earlier: " Don, it's simple.The day that dancer girl tried to seduce you, you were lured by her charm...So Hellfire wants to use Maya as a tool to get to you...But unfortunately, you got to her first." Was he really lured by Maya, was that why he couldn't let her go? He had even brought her to his clan, something he had never done before. Who exactly is she? Is she a spy? He couldn't just trust her. She is so mysterious to him, he would find out everything about her today. If she a spy, or an imposter, or the innocent girl she claims to be? Whatever she is, he's going to find out today. ✧✧✧✧ Pussycat walked towards Max's suite, holding her arrow and bow as usual, wearing her cold expression. She reached the front of the building and was about to knock on his door, but the usual noise coming from his room stopped her. "Yeah...Yeah...f*ck me harder" Came the loud moans from Speedy, Max was f*cking nonstop, with his balls hitting her a*s widely. "Oh....." She folded her fist, and turned, walking away. ✧✧✧✧ TRAINING GROUND* Vinegar groaned out loudly when she missed the target for the umpteenth time. She stared at the shooting range and sighed. "Maybe this really isn't meant for me." She tried shooting again, but she couldn't focus. She sighed and dropped the arrow, then grabbed a gun. "Should I give it a try? You can do this," Vinegar muttered, pointing her gun at the range. But she lost again. "You need to stand properly and focus on the angles on the range," Jerry's voice came from the back, and she immediately turned, dropping the gun. "I was only trying to teach you," Jerry muttered, but she started walking out. "Silent babe!" He ran after her. "Don't you get tired?" Vinegar suddenly stopped and faced him. "Tired of what?" "Following me around, it's kinda annoying, and I hate it," she said seriously. "Oh... I'm... sorry," Jerry mouthed. "You say that shit all the time, just do me a favor and stop being a lap dog, because I don't need one," she glared at him and left. "She's right, aren't you also tired of following her around? Why work yourself out on a girl who doesn't deserve it? Move on, bruh," Spider appeared, hanging her hand around his shoulder as usual. "I'm just caring for her,I didn't mean any harm," Jerry muttered. "Then stop, you heard her clearly ,she doesn't need a lap dog," Spider said. "But she doesn't have to be rude," Jerry whispered, and Spider smirked. "Just forget about her and focus on us... I mean, our friendship," Spider muttered, and Jerry sighed. ✧✧✧✧ POWER ROOM* Antonio had gathered all the gang into the power room. He was standing in the middle of them all. "So, we're going on a mission today," Antonio said. "Don, are you going with us?" Skylar, who was sitting on a chair, asked. She had fully recovered from the beating that Antonio gave her, but the marks were still on her body. "Sure, it's going to be bloody... But Skylar, you're going to stay back because you're just recovering," Antonio said. Skylar smiled, thinking, "At least he still cares for me... Wait....Was he actually caring? He wouldn't have whipped her if he did." "Don, I'm perfectly fine... No need to be worried about me," Skylar said. She couldn't miss this mission for anything, especially now that Antonio was going, it was truly going to be bloody. "I never said I was worried," Antonio muttered, and Pussycat burst out laughing. One hard glare from Antonio made her stop laughing. "If she insists on going, then let her," Drake said from behind. Antonio rolled his eyes. "Vinegar, prepare the bikes,we're going to be taking them," Antonio faced her and said. "Sure, Don," Vinegar bowed. "And one more thing,we're taking Maya along," Antonio dropped the bomb. "What?!" Skylar sprang up and asked, and Antonio turned his gaze to her. "Do you have any problems with that?" Antonio asked. "I mean, she's not part of us... She doesn't look like someone who can hold a gun... Taking her on this mission is like endangering her life," Skylar said. "Wow, someone actually cares," Jerry said, but Skylar rolled her eyes. "It's none of your business," Antonio said to Skylar. "Drake, group them into two,we're taking bikes, not cars," Antonio said and walked out from there. "Omg... I can smell death on the way," Jupiter said. Drake stepped into the middle and started pairing them. ✧✧✧✧ "W-what?!?" Maya sprang up immediately after Jupiter broke the news to her. Antonio had actually told her to come and tell Maya about this mission, and he asked her to dress her up. "You can't go against the Don, except you're asking for a death wish," Jupiter said, packing Maya's hair into a bun. She put a black bandana around her hair, their dress code was black. "What do I want to go do on this silly mission? I'm not a mafia gang like you all... I didn't go through training like you all did," Maya said. "You have nothing to be worried about," Jupiter said, putting a black lipstick on her lips. Her mind was suddenly racing through different questions. “Had Antonio finally discovered that she's a police officer? Was that why he was asking her to accompany them on this mission? Oh no!! Jupiter finished dressing her, and she stared at herself in the mirror,she really looked like a badass gangster right now. "Geez, you were born to be a gangster," Jupiter complimented her, and Maya rolled her eyes. They both walked out together and met the whole gang waiting outside. Antonio's eyes popped out,she really looked like one of them. Max and Speedy entered one bike, Drake and Skylar, Spider and Minnie, Jerry and Pussycat, while Antonio and Maya took another bike. They drove out from the empire,Vinegar and Hotdogg stayed back. Antonio was driving crazily, like an expert, because he was an expert,her hair was flowing behind her as he drove. ✧✧✧✧ UNKNOWN LOCATION* Swords clashed against each other as some people dropped dead to the floor,everywhere was so bloody because of the fight that was going on. "C'mon," Jerry jogged, stretching out his hand, but the man in a mask suddenly came forward, and Jerry punched him in the face. Blood gushed out from his mouth as he fell to the ground, Jerry faced Spider and winked at her. "Let's finish this remnant in front of us," he said to her, and they started taking them down. Skylar, on the other hand, carried her bow and arrow and started firing at them so skillfully. Speedy was using her sword to fight one, she kept ducking and moving backward, but the man got her and used his sword to slash her skin. Blood spilled out from her hand, and she dropped to the floor, holding her injured hand. Then, the man was about to shove his sword into her tummy, but Max came and kicked the man. He staggered to the floor, Max walked to him and lifted his sword up before the man could recover from the fall, Max shoved his sword inside him. He dropped dead to the floor,Max smirked and ran back to Speedy. Maya just looked dumbfounded as she stared at what she was supposed to do,she couldn't just blow her cover like that. Just then, someone dragged her into an abandoned room, and she gasped,she was about to fight back when she saw who it was. "Gray," she called, and he looked at her with a smile. "What are you doing here?" Maya asked. "I didn't know I'd find you here,I came here as an undercover, Emily sent me here," Grayson said, and Maya hit him. "You didn't even bother to call me, nor care how I was doing there,it wasn't fair," Maya said, hitting his chest. "I'm sorry," Grayson muttered and pulled her into a hug, she pulled him closer as tears slowly escaped her eyes. Just then, the door squeaked open.....
