When someone unexpectedly mentioned Isabella, Nathan suddenly realized that it had been days since Isabella last contacted him. Not a single text or voice message. Finally, he sensed something was off. As a werewolf, his instincts were usually sharp, but his preoccupation with Victoria had clouded his perception. After all, that girl had always been clingy. Even if they saw each other daily, whenever she couldn’t see him, she’d find all sorts of excuses to reach out—sharing her meals, reminding him to dress warmly, or asking him to come home early because she had a surprise for him.
